Excellent question Livio. In my context, I don't advocate niche free writing for new writers. One needs some sort of personal branding to establish who you are. That said, this personal branding need not cast in concrete. It should be allowed to evolve albeit slowly. For me, currently I write mostly about self-improvement and my readers knows that. But say my new passion is writing travel log I should make small changes toward that and not a sudden change. Hope that's clearer. Thanks for the question, I appreciate it.
