Thanks Paolo, it's true that when we slow down and take notice, we can find beauty and interest in the seemingly ordinary moments of life. It's a wonderful reminder that there is wonder and magic to be found in our everyday experiences if we take the time to look for it. I appreciate you sharing this insight, and I hope others are inspired to take a moment to appreciate the ordinary as well.

I am both elderly and disabled, and your story gave me hope. I get around on a stroller, and have found, unfortunately, that I am either treated as if I was invisible. Please note that this is not self-pity, but a simple statement of facts. Perhaps a lovely bus driver and considerate commuters will come my way!

Thank you for sharing your story with me. I'm glad to hear that my story gave you hope. I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced invisibility, and I want to acknowledge the challenges that come with being elderly and disabled. It's inspiring to hear that you remain hopeful and optimistic about the future. I hope that you encounter many more kind and considerate people on your journey, and that your stroller serves as a tool for greater mobility and independence. Remember that you are a valuable member of our community, and that your presence and contributions are appreciated.

It’s those interludes in life - waking up, waiting for the coffee to brew, those few moments as a rider exits their home to get a ride with you, enjoying the end of the day - that allow us to relax, reflect and refresh that give us the impetus to continue.

I find it’s also just as invigorating and renewing to take a walk in the park or the woods, feel the fresh air, watch and listen to birds, detect the scents of pine, water mixed with fresh fish in a nearby river or wet earth.

Thank you Thomas. It's important to take time for ourselves and appreciate the simple pleasures around us. I agree that taking a walk in nature and immersing ourselves in the sights, sounds, and scents can be invigorating and renewing. It's amazing how being in nature can help us to feel more connected to the world around us and give us a sense of peace. I hope you continue to find these moments of reflection and refreshment in your daily life.

My band TUTBO GOTH played baybeats 2011. The crowd was supportive. We played in the esplanade by the water as the din was setting. We had a couple of days to explore and immerse. I remember orchard road. I enjoyed the items in the convenience stores. That was more than a decade ago. Here's a video I put together. https://youtu.be/EjGZ6R7ehG8
