In the last episode, I introduced Gardens by the Bay. Today I am going to talk about the other places that I go to during my morning walks.
Visiting this garden on a Sunday morning, it is not uncommon to get the feeling that you are not in Singapore because of the diversity of visitors that comes here to exercise. Expats love to come here because of the surroundings, and their overwhelming presence makes the whole place feels like Central Park or St James’s Park.
In this episode, I will share this garden that I love to visit — the 163-year-old Singapore Botanic Gardens, the most iconic garden in green-obsessed Singapore. In 2015, this garden paradise, widely regarded as an icon of our so-called "garden city" was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is an exclusive weekend series for my paid subscribers where I will share stories about my beautiful country. So if you hope to get to know my country Singapore through my eyes, do not hesitate to upgrade your subscription.
