I Finally Understand the Meaning of Letting Go
It is difficult to find hope and happiness if we don't know how to let go.
In my line of work, I have to deal with many different kinds of people. Working with people can be a daunting task; they are complex and unpredictable. No matter how well we try, there will always be something that doesn’t go our way. People have different personalities, and some are assholes that are downright challenging to handle. The angsts and frustrations of managing people can leave us feeling helpless, which can sometimes feel like an impossible task.
To live a happy life, we must learn to acquire the ability to let go of these negative people-to-people experiences because dwelling on these issues will only incapacitate our ability to appreciate the other joyous moment in front of us. They will occupy our senses and suck away our time and energy without helping with the situations. Only by kicking out these toxic encounters from our minds can we make space for the worthy delights of life.
I had just spent a whole afternoon trying to talk sense into someone who was very rude, but ultimately, I ended up telling myself we must forget what needs to be forgotten because some things are just meant to be, and if we can't change them, we need to let them be. When we let go, we'll realize nothing is too much to overcome, and life can still be great despite our awful experiences.
We have to recognise that some people in our lives aren't worth our energy and attention. The more we care, the more we will suffer, and life is too short to occupy ourselves with all these meaningless worries. Don't let others consume our happiness.
To live meaningfully, we need to embrace the process of renewal. This is because we can only gain the ability to accept new experiences if we know how to let go of the unpleasant ones. If we don't release our stress, it will accumulate and may eventually explode in our faces. That’s why I often find myself writing out my angst and frustrations.
Sometimes, letting go of something small can make a big difference in our lives. If we know how to take things lightly, we won't have too many worries. The reason we can't let go is often because we expect too much of ourselves. There are always things beyond our control, and we may not get what we want all the time. It's normal, and we need to accept our limitations. Learn to love yourself more, and you will be happier.
Everyone's energy and time are limited. Overthinking will ultimately make us suffer and tire our souls. No one's life is perfect. We will inevitably experience setbacks and calamities along the way, but be happy because they will only make us grow stronger.
Let go of people, things, and matters that are not deserving to occupy our mind, and forget what needs to be forgotten. Instead of being entangled in self-inflicted struggles, it's better to empty our minds and return to zero. Only when we are no longer influenced by those negative thoughts can we be ourselves. Let the past be the past; no matter how much we struggle, it won't change anything. Look forward, go with the flow, and live our lives.
Life is short, and time is precious. Don't waste it on people who don't care about us. For people and things that are destined to have no bearing in our life, it's better to let them go as soon as possible. Otherwise, if we allow the past to affect the present, we will regret it later. Seize the moment and live fully in the present, don't let yourself down.

This is a helpful reminder, one I need to keep reminding myself on a daily basis!
You prove your entire point in your last sentence - refusing to acknowledge the person and incident that upset you and instead getting on with your life.
