Writing on Substack requires another kind of mindset that is different from Medium. The starting part is usually the hardest, and you need to have a strategy to help you kick start or else going it alone will take a long time with a low success rate.
Even today, with over 2K subscribers, things aren’t that motivating still. Gone are the days when my posts could average above 1K claps on Medium. Here on Substack, I would rejoice if it goes above ten likes.

The challenges I faced on Substack
The first challenge I faced on Substack was working out how often I should publish so that I won’t overwhelm my readers and have people treat my emails as spam or, worst, unsubscribe from my newsletter.
