I haven’t been my old self lately. It is as if I have moved on to another life, where the demands of work and the pursuit of physical fitness have taken center stage, leaving little room for the hobbies and leisure activities that once brought me joy, including writing on Substack. As I reflect on my own recent experiences, it becomes increasingly clear that people of my age have to pay close attention to our health. The wear and tear on our bodies have become more apparent, reminding us of our mortality and the fragility of the human condition.
Life is unpredictable, and we cannot predict when illness or injury will strike, disrupting the delicate balance of our existence. Yet, in the face of this uncertainty, there is one powerful tool at our disposal: building a consistent daily exercise routine with good dietary habits. It is the only way to slow down the ageing process and maximise the time we have to live meaningfully.
As with any endeavour, the journey towards healthy living is not without its challenges. It requires a concerted effort to translate thoughts into tangible actions, a conscious effort to carve out time from our busy schedule and a resistance to the allure of procrastination.
As I continue to nurture this commitment toward health and wellness, I am going to share with you some motivational quotes that have inspired me to keep up with my exercise routine.
Before I do, here is a recap of the quotes I shared last week on Notes.
Below are the quotes I'll be sharing on Notes this week to inspire and motivate you towards your goals.
